Tell an Australian embassy what Browse LNG would cost
The Australian Government is considering whether to approve offshore gas drilling in the Browse basin. This carbon bomb would lock in gas supply to Asia for decades, and create an estimated 1.6 billion tonnes of climate pollution over its lifetime. This drives devastating floods, fires, heatwaves and storms around the world. But we have the chance to stop it.
When the Australian Government hears that people around the world don't want this carbon bomb to go ahead, it builds the case for the government to reject the Browse development. Pick your country, choose the perspective you speak from, make the words your own, and send it to Australia's diplomatic post nearest you. Let Australia know that the world is watching.
